I watched about half way thru and it was funny so far . Sam’s description of the F1 car driving experience was engrossing.

To think that both Travis and Sam used to write for Jalopnik. Now they’re writing for Road and Track. I honestly don’t know what to say about that. I hope they’re happy doing what they do , I guess.

Hearing Sam talk, I think print would be good for us lot. He has so much to say that having 20 pages is good for the readers than having a big article online only because it will be longer.

Also, my reading speed and reading retention is much higher than on the verbal scale. I always want print, electric or analog. C all it a failing of mine.

Are we sure Road and Track doesn’t pay more? They’re kind of an institution despite being part of a dying medium. My friend is an editor there (Kyle Kinard) and i can safely say he loves his job. Last time he was in town, he was testing a G65 AMG that he got to take offroading. I’d think working for Jalopnik would involve a lot less driving of interesting vehicles.

I honestly have no idea. I can only hope they’re doing what they love and getting paid well for it.
